The Van Schaick Island Country Club

"Play Where the Rivers Meet"

Come On Over!

If you are visiting this site because you are interested in joining a golf club, you came to the right place.  This is our 123rd year of operation and we are proud to say that things couldn't be better.  Our golf course is in great shape as usual.  Golfers from those who are looking for serious competition to those who just want to get out and play social golf have lots of events to choose from.  Van Schaick is a small private club. Our membership is small and that makes it possible to operate without tee times most of the time.  Van Schaick boasts a championship course that will challenge the best golfers yet is still friendly to those who want to play social golf.  We have three sets of tees that accomodate just about every golfer.

The best way to see what VSICC offers is to come on over and see for yourself. Stop into the pro shop and let our PGA Head Golf Professional, Bob Kennedy, show you the course; maybe even play a round.  The course will sell itself.

After that, stop into the restaurant, Max410,  in our clubhouse.  The food and service is outstanding. By the way, you don't have to be a member to enjoy Max410; it's open to the public.

Our Course

Van Schaick Island Country Club is a private, nine-hole golf course with varied front and back nine tee boxes playing to a par 72 for men and women. VSICC maintains six tee locations for every hole ensuring that an enjoyable round is within reach for golfers of all skill levels.

VSICC offers gentle rolling hills and a picturesque island setting. A minimum distance from green to tee makes walking this course a pleasure for any golfer. VSICC is a challenging, yet playable trek that will test every club in your bag. Our bent grass putting greens are meticulously manicured and offer subtle undulation. Natural Fescue lines several holes adding to VSICC's original Scottish links style layout. For a hole-by-hole video tour of the golf course, click here.
